Bushwalking
Just out of Neerim Junction you will find Glen Nayook, a 30min walking track which follows the east branch of the Tarago River to a tree fern gully. The reserve is suitable for a short visit or picnic.
This walk follows the course of one of the historic timber tramlines in Noojee. Features include a suspension bridge over the Latrobe River near the parking area, seating along the way, interpretive signage and picnic tables at the end on Lock River.

The Ada Tree is an ancient Mountain Ash which at over 300 years old stands 76m high with a circumference of 15m, making it one of Victoria's largest trees. It towers over the surrounding rainforest in the headwaters of the Little Ada River north-east of Powelltown and near Noojee. From the car park on the Ada River Road, the tree can be reached by walking 1.6km along the Island Creek walking track. The path meanders through cool temperate rainforest passing under groves of ancient Myrle Beech, Sassafras and Soft Tree Fern.
The circular walking track at Toorongo Falls Reserve takes in both the Toorongo and Amphitheatre Falls with spectacular viewing platforms. There are picnic facilities and toilets at the Reserve.

The restored Noojee Trestle Bridge is from the old railway line which ran from Warragul to Noojee. This bridge known as No. 7 is the only remaining out of seven trestle bridges on the section of railway line between Nayook and Noojee. You can take a walk from the bridge following the old railway line to Noojee.

Cycling
This trail can be accessed opposite Neerim Country Cottages and travels to Neerim South, 5.6km one way. This part of the trail features views of the Tarago Reservoir, Bunyip State Forest in the west and towards Mt Baw Baw in the east. From Neerim South the trail continues through Crossover Regional Park which includes the Crossover Trestle Bridge and concludes at Rokeby Common.
